What a great listen. I loved the fountain and squeaky ball noises in the background. Thank you for talking about doubt and how to work through it.
I pivoted into tech writing a year ago. The first few months, I wasn't sure if I could do it. Drafts can bring out those doubt gremlins. But it's necessary. I agree, revision is where the magic happens!
Save the Cat Writes a Novel is one of my FAVORITE plot structures. It's great to riff on and the book really changed my approach to story writing. My problem was always meandering story lines (my background was in role play and fanfic) and their three act structure helped me tighten up and home in on the real story I wanted to tell.
Where is the appropriate place to ask questions if we have one? Just in comments or is there a Q&A thread I don't know of?
I cannot express how much I needed this. My debut romance is coming out in July and WOOF the doubt is harrowing. Thank you!!
Congratulations! I know it's terrifying but you have already accomplished something HUGE.
